Object binding

In addition to defining the Web service interface, the WSDL file also specifies how this interface is bound to the application server that executes the operations of the Web service. For Progress 4GL Web services, this binding information specifies how to generate and handle SOAP messages exchanged over HTTP between the client and WSA instance that manages the Web service. This includes information to identify the Web service and its WSA instance, as well as to format and send the SOAP messages. The Web service deployer specifies this binding and implementation information (deployment information) during Web service deployment.
